Salary Range: £97.88 – 103.27

TeacherActive are work is seeking a passionate and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive specialist school based in Staffordshire. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their emotional and social development, helping them to overcome challenges and succeed in their academic pursuits.

The successful Behaviour Mentor will be required to  

• Provide one-on-one support to students with behavioural and emotional difficulties.
• Develop and implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour in the classroom.
• Build strong relationships with students to foster trust and confidence.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create inclusive learning environments.
• Monitor and track progress of students, reporting on their development and behaviour improvements.
• Assist in creating and facilitating interventions aimed at improving student well-being and academic success.

The successful Behaviour Mentor will have:

• Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, empathetic attitude with a genuine desire to help students succeed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools) are desirable but not essential.
