Head Of Sales Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a dynamic sales team of nine by focusing on nurturing a high-performance culture and using your managerial experience to mentor and inspire
- Track team performance and set clear, definitive goals and KPIs that align with revenue and profit goals
- Oversee all operational aspects of the department which involves developing and implementing refined workflows that increase efficiency and performance
- Identify areas for improvement and implement new sales processes and practices to enhance sales performance and the overall customer journey
- Ensure exceptional levels of customer service are delivered and account management practices are maintained to promote loyalty and ongoing sales
- Develop and implement targeted B2C and B2B sales strategies to maximise one-off sales and account growth and increase retention and conversion rates
- Work in conjunction with the marketing team to ensure sales and marketing strategies are aligned and meet the wider business goals
- Identify opportunities for further growth by recognising business development and cross-sell and upsell opportunities for the team to take advantage of
- Provide in-depth sales analytics and insights by recording all information, maintaining the CRM system, and standardising reporting across each sales department
Head Of Sales Skills and Experience:
- Existing Head of Sales/Sales Manager with experience gained in a multi-departmental role covering both B2B and B2C transactional and account-based sales
- Possesses sector experience in hire services, and knowledge of hire fleet or storage would also be a distinct advantage
- Demonstrates exceptional managerial and leadership skills and has a proven track record of developing a high-performing sales team
- Experienced in developing and implementing tailored sales strategies across multiple departments
- Proficient in CRM and sales systems and able to use these tools to provide insights and measure success
- Strategic and analytical, able to craft strategies and use data to identify trends and inform future strategies
- Results-driven thrives on achieving personal, team, and company-wide goals
- Innovative in your approach, able to think outside of the box to drive performance and generate growth and have a passion for continuous improvement
