This primary school is such an integral part of the local community. Their pupils come from a range of rich and diverse backgrounds, and many are dual language speakers. They are a very friendly and nurturing school and have pride in knowing and supporting their pupils very well.

Your new role
The role is working with children in the main nursery and reception. You will be supporting colleagues and working as a team to provide a homely, stable, and stimulating environment for all children. You will also be helping to develop the children's learning and abilities through basic literacy, numeracy and phonics sessions and monitoring their progress.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A Level 3 childcare qualification is required for this role.
  • You must have 2 years' experience in a nursery setting.
  • Confident in preparing and delivering high quality activities in line with EYFS outcomes.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • To have recent and relevant experience in the role.
  • Be confident and offer encouragement.
  • You need to be reliable.
