We are recruiting a SEND teaching assistant role to work in the Walsall area in a 2-form entry "GOOD" OFSTED rated Primary School. This teaching assistant's role is to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in Reception who is non-verbal.
Our client is looking for a candidate with experience with a 1:1 role and any additional qualifications around SEND is desirable and experience with non-verbal children. You will work with a small team, non-class based to ensure children receive the best education possible.
This role will start in April 2025 and continue to July 2025 full-time (8:30-15:30).
Required Skills and Experience for this SEND Teaching Assistant roleHold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
Good knowledge and experience of working with SEND
Experience working in Nurseries or Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant or LSA
A minimum of 2 excellent references

- Competitive Salary - between £85-£100 per day depending on experience, which equates to £16,578.90-£19,500 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
