About the School and Role:

ABC Teachers is seeking a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEND school in Bloxwich. In this full-time role, starting as soon as possible, you will provide essential support to students with moderate learning difficulties and additional needs, including speech and language impairments.

You will work with small groups and offer 1:1 support to help students thrive academically and personally. The school is known for its positive, nurturing environment, with a team dedicated to fostering each child's growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with moderate learning difficulties, both in small groups and one-on-one.
  • Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to meet the individual needs of each student.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working with SEND students across a range of needs.
  • Be adaptable, reliable, and passionate about helping children reach their potential.
  • Possess strong communication skills and work well as part of a team.
  • Be able to provide references, pass a valid DBS check, and have the Right to Work in the UK.

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
