We are recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant role to work in the Walsall area in a 1-form entry “GOOD” OFSTED rated Primary School. This SEND Teaching Assistant's role is to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in a mixed year group in year 1 / 2.
Our client is looking for a candidate with experience with non-verbal, Autism and ADHD and any additional qualifications around SEND is desirable.
This role is to start ASAP and continue to July 2025 full-time (8:30-15:30).
Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
- Good knowledge and experience of working with SEND
- Experience working in Nurseries or Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant or LSA
- A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months
- A minimum of 2 excellent references
Working for Flourish Education as a Teaching Assistant (LSA) you will receive
- Competitive Salary – between £85-£100 per day depending on experience, which equates to £16,578.90-£19,500 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
