Flourish Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant role to work in the Great Wyrley area in a 2-form entry Primary School. This teaching assistant's role is to work closely with both class teachers to support a safe, engaging and positive learning environment across the Year 3 cohort, where your time in each class will be split.

As a Teaching Assistant at our client's school in year 3, you are expected to provide support to the class teacher and help prepare the classroom ahead of lessons, safeguard all children and take small groups/ 1:1 intervention. You may also be required to take part in playground duty and support on school trips.

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role

  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
  • Good curriculum knowledge of Key Stage 2
  • Experience working in Nurseries or Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant or LSA
  • A minimum of 2 excellent references
