Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Pay Rate: £90.15 per day
Location: Walsall
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

 

Smart Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students aged 7 to 18 with a diverse range of special educational needs, including ASD, Dysgraphia, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, EAL, HI, MLD, SLCN, and VI. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and creating an inclusive learning environment.

Job Requirements for this SEN Teaching Assistant role in Walsall:
  • Must hold a valid Child and Adult Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one)
  • Must have a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months SEN experience in a school or similar setting
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN needs
  • Ability to provide tailored support to meet individual student needs
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting diverse learning styles
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with teachers and SENCOs
