Role Overview:
As a Year 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and providing additional support to students. You will help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes the academic and personal development of all children.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons for Year 3 students
Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help
Assisting with classroom management and ensuring a positive learning environment
Helping with the preparation of classroom materials and resources
Supporting students with their social, emotional, and academic needs
Assisting with assessments and monitoring student progress
Collaborating with other staff to ensure high standards of teaching and learning

REQUIREMENTS:
Experience working with children in a school or educational setting, ideally within primary education
A passion for working with children and supporting their development
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff
Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
