Graduate Stores and Cutting Facilities Engineer

Monday - Thursday: 8am - 4pm & Friday: 8am - 2pm (occasional flexibility as required)

£25,000 - £28,000 per annum

People Solutions are looking for a Graduate Stores and Cutting Facilities Engineer for our client based in Walsall.

Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations and logistics
  • Learn to operate and program beam saws, circular saws, and band saws
  • Assist in managing stock control, inventory management, and order processing
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow
  • Support the wider team with cutting, storing, and preparing materials for production
  • Opportunity to assist with deliveries when required (a full, clean driving licence would be advantageous)

Essential Skills:

  • A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, or a related discipline
  • A genuine interest in warehousing, logistics, and manufacturing operations
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to work
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and follow structured processes

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
  • Basic knowledge of CNC cutting machines or saw operation
  • An understanding of stock control and inventory management
  • A full, clean UK driving licence to assist with deliveries where necessary

Training:

  • Full training provided on warehouse operations, stock management, and cutting machinery
