Our client is looking for an experienced Legal Assistant with expertise in Litigation to support a Senior Solicitor.The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively. You must be able to manage time effectively, prioritise workload, and handle sensitive matters with discretion.Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach are essential, along with being self-motivated and proactive. Understanding the intricacies of business, with many team members boasting hands-on experience in multi-million-pound companies, providing invaluable foresight and risk management skills.What will be expected of you?
  • Manage the Fee Earner’s diary, scheduling meetings and appointments.
  • Handle routine client correspondence and respond to queries efficiently.
  • Open and close files in accordance with firm procedures.
  • Assist clients in person and over the phone, ensuring a high standard of client care.
  • Maintain accurate client records on the firm’s database, ensuring all correspondence and file notes comply with the Firm’s and Lexcel requirements.
  • Prepare and send client correspondence, enclosures, and invoices.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality of all client and firm information and documentation.
  • Maintain physical client files, including copying, storing, and retrieving information as needed.
  • Process payment requests and record receipts of client funds.
  • Arrange property searches, reports, and other requested information for the Fee Earner.
