  • The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with a salary ranging from £25,000 to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Travel to other offices may be required to meet client needs.

A superb opportunity is available for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a forward thinking law firm based in Walsall within their Contentious Trusts & Probate team. Previous experience of working within this specific area of litigation would be advantageous but is not essential.

This is a great role to receive concentrated development with direct supervision from senior, well regarded Solicitors and Partners,  you will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience with the longer term opportunity to be able to run your own cases.

If you are successful, you will get the opportunity to assist Senior Solicitors on their cases and get involved in complex matters.  You will be:

  • Attending client meetings, note taking all relevant information
  • Drafting a wide range of correspondence and legal documents
  • Drafting instructions to Counsel
  • Assembling Court bundles as required
  • Keeping clients, opponents, counsel and experts informed and updated

As part of your development, you will have the opportunity to attend relevant networking and marketing events, both internally and externally to promote your team, the firm and yourself with the aim of gaining new opportunities and making new professional contacts.

Ideally, our client is looking for an experienced Litigation professional with the following:

  • Current or recent experience of working within a Litigation team
  • A desire to learn new skills and embrace opportunities for personal development
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Naturally good organisation and time management skills
  • Confident to cope in a busy and fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to conduct good, quality legal research
  • Good file management

Whilst the role will be based at Walsall, there may be a times that you will need to travel to our other offices within the firm to meet client needs.

This is a full time, permanent role working 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday and a salary between £25,000pa - £30,000pa depending on experience
