Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
Manpower is hiring for a Warehouse Supervisor for our fantastic client, offering brand new facilities, kit, and a chance to be a part of a growing company making a difference!
Our clients distribution sites are referred to as "Microsites" and are located across the region. Using a fleet of vans & drivers these sites supply fresh cooking oils to the restaurant, takeaway and catering trade and collect used cooking oils for production of products destined biofuel and renewable electricity at the regional processing site.
The Supervisor at the WS2 intermediary site is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring the efficient storage and management of used cooking oil for call-off to the 60 Million litre processing site in Wednesbury. The role also involves managing the decanting production process from BIBs and maintaining full compliance with waste transfer documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of used cooking oil, ensuring all processes align with company standards and operational efficiency.
- Manage the decanting production process from BIBs, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
- Ensure waste transfer notes are completed accurately and recorded in line with legal and company requirements.
- Supervise and support the FLT Driver and Production Operative, ensuring they adhere to health and safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised site, ensuring adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Work closely with Micro Sites and relevant teams to coordinate the movement of materials and ensure efficient site operations.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a logistics, production, or waste management environment.
- Strong understanding of stock management, compliance, and operational best practices.
- Experience completing and managing waste transfer documentation.
- FLT license (Essential).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
