As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -

  • Providing Maintenance support for site facilities and machinery
  • Maximise the uptime through TPM schedule and reactive breakdown situations
  • Efficient response to breakdowns ensuring minimum downtime
  • Organising and administering the spares stock whilst minimising costs
  • Active participation in continuous improvement initiatives; machine operation, processes, and procedures
  • Ensure that H&S and Quality Management Systems are adhered to

To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will -

  • Have a relevant Mechanical engineering qualification
  • Previous experience maintaining production machinery within a manufacturing environment
  • Be experienced with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Have a proactive work ethic and self-motivation to drive continuous improvement


On offer for this maintenance engineer vacancy includes -

  • Basic salary of £35 - £38K depending on experience and what hours you choose to work
  • Paid overtime available, anything above 40hrs hours per week Monday - Friday is x1.33
  • Choice of either a permanent morning or afternoon shift depending on preference
  • 28 days annual leave
