Job Title: Site Manager

Location: Various sites within 40 miles of Walsall

Rate: £300-£350 per day (PAYE)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy civil engineering, with a preference for water-related projects. You will be responsible for managing direct delivery teams and subcontractors, ensuring the successful execution of projects while maintaining client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily site operations and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Manage direct delivery teams and subcontractors, providing guidance and support.
• Liaise with clients to ensure their requirements are met and maintain strong relationships.
• Coordinate temporary works and ensure all documentation is in place.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.

Qualifications:

• Certifications: SMSTS, CSCS, NVQ Level 4 or above.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Site Manager role, preferably within heavy civil engineering.
• Skills:
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Proven experience in managing direct delivery teams and subcontractors.
  • Ability to manage client expectations effectively.

   

Desirable Qualifications:

• Temporary Works Coordinator certification.
• Experience in water-related projects.
