Design Engineer - Automated Machinery - Mechanical - Brownhills
Are you a mechanically biased Design Engineer who would like to work in a company where you are a person rather than a payroll number?
Brooklyn Recruitment currently have a Design Engineer’s role available in the Brownhills area of the West Midlands to join a small friendly team. The company design, manufacture and install cleaning systems.
As a mechanically biased Design Engineer you will be:
- Seeing projects through from conception to completion.
- Creating project Designs.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Be proficient in the use of AutoCad and Solidworks.
- Keeping up to date with technology advancements.
- Ensuring designs comply to industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders.
- Other duties as required.
To be suitable for this role of Design Engineer you should have previous design experience preferably within the automated systems arena / cleaning systems arena. You should also have AutoCAD experience, Solidworks is an advantage but is not essential and hold a formal engineering qualification.
The hours of work for this role are Mon - Fri 8.30am - 5pm or 8am - 4.30pm if preferred and is office based.
