Graduate Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Monday - Thursday: 8am - 4pm & Friday: 8am - 2pm (occasional flexibility required)
£25,000 - £28,000 per annum
People Solutions are looking for a Graduate Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for our client based in Walsall.

Day-to-Day Duties:
- Provide both reactive and planned maintenance services for machinery and equipment
- Learn how to install new machinery and visit manufacturers to understand machine functionality
- Gain expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical maintenance
- Play a key role in facilities management, ensuring the smooth running of operations
- Work alongside experienced engineers to develop technical skills and problem-solving abilities
Essential Skills:
- A degree in Mechanical, Maintenance, or Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline)
- A genuine interest in mechanical maintenance and hands-on engineering
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Desirable Skills:
- Some prior experience with hands-on engineering, maintenance, or repairs
- A basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical wiring
- Previous exposure to industrial machinery or CNC equipment
- A willingness to travel for manufacturer training as required
Training:
