As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -
- Providing Maintenance support for site facilities and machinery
- Maximise the uptime through TPM schedule and reactive breakdown situations
- Efficient response to breakdowns ensuring minimum downtime
- Organising and administering the spares stock whilst minimising costs
- Active participation in continuous improvement initiatives; machine operation, processes, and procedures
- Ensure that H&S and Quality Management Systems are adhered to
To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will -
- Have a relevant Mechanical engineering qualification
- Previous experience maintaining production machinery within a manufacturing environment
- Be experienced with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Have a proactive work ethic and self-motivation to drive continuous improvement
On offer for this maintenance engineer vacancy includes -
- Basic salary of £35 - £38K depending on experience and what hours you choose to work
- Paid overtime available, anything above 40hrs hours per week Monday - Friday is x1.33
- Choice of either a permanent morning or afternoon shift depending on preference
- 28 days annual leave
