We are working with a top tier main contractor who are looking for a Project Engineer to coordinate and manage design and delivery phases for water and wastewater projects within the Severn Trent Water framework.
The Role:
As the Project Engineer you will support theproject delivery team by managing concept development, design, and construction phases, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Early Contractor Involvement (ECI): Attend site/client meetings, coordinate design, and support estimating, risk assessments, and feasibility studies.
- Detailed Design: Oversee multidisciplinary supply chains, manage design documents, and ensure alignment with client requirements.
- Construction & Handover: Support the transition from design to delivery, coordinate procurement and commissioning, and manage technical queries and documentation.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure adherence to HSEQ standards, drive risk reduction, and incorporate value engineering.
What You Need:
- Experience in civil engineering projects (Water sector preferred).
- Strong knowledge of CDM regulations, risk management, and design coordination.
- Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- CSCSÂ Card & SSSTS/SMSTS.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, CAD, and Office 365.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
