We are looking for a Community & Partnership Engagement Lead to develop and maintain strong partnerships with local workplaces and stakeholders. This role is crucial for increasing referrals and delivering NHS Health Checks, as well as signposting to other services and supporting with referrals. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in achieving partnership-related goals and will focus on workplace-based services and stakeholder engagement to maximise referrals and promote healthy behaviour change.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Support the delivery of the Community & Partnerships Engagement Strategy by working with local businesses to organise and deliver NHS Health Checks in the workplace.
  • Utilise Asset Based Community Development approaches to leverage community skills and opportunities.
  • Build relationships with key referral pathways, using innovative engagement techniques to target key areas and priority groups.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Team to distribute resources effectively.
  • Develop and maintain effective referral pathways into and out of the service, ensuring a holistic support network.
  • Deliver presentations and engage with the community to promote services, including attendance at events and forums.
  • Work with managers to review and deliver agreed KPIs/Targets, report to management, and contribute to the overall contract aims.
  • Maintain records of stakeholder interactions and contribute to the continuous improvement plan for the service.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience working with a range of stakeholders and communities.
  • Proven ability to present to large groups and chair meetings.
  • Strong partnership building and maintenance skills.
  • Desirable: Qualifications in community development.
  • Understanding of NHS Health Checks and experience in health, voluntary sector, or social care environments.
  • Knowledge of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and working with health professionals.
  • IT literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organisational skills, confident, self-motivated, and adaptable.
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
