Advanced Practitioner Occupational Therapist (Adult Social Care)

Hybrid Working - 2 days office based in Walsall

Our Local Authority Client are recruiting an Advanced Practitioner Occupational Therapist for their Adult Social Care Service in Walsall for a locum contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor occupational therapists, providing guidance and professional support.
  • Allocate and prioritise workloads effectively to maintain service efficiency.
  • Ensure quality assurance of assessments, interventions, and reports.
  • Utilise moving and handling expertise to support safe and effective patient care.
  • Contribute to service development and best practice implementation.

Requirements:

  • HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Strong background in moving and handling.
  • Proven experience in mentoring and supervising staff.
  • Ability to lead on quality assurance processes.
