- To provide strong professional Occupational Therapy practice leadership across all operational areas of the service.
- To be a member of the Adult Social Care Senior Management Team.
- To represent the Adult Social Care workforce at a strategic level to ensure service design and priorities are influenced by frontline OT practice experience.
- To contribute to a quality assurance system with a focus on improving outcomes for adults with care and support needs.
- To lead on learning and development and progression opportunities for the OT/OTA offer across Adult Social Care and work with managers to ensure that regular supervision, training, and development occurs.
- To take a leadership role in partnership working with other agencies as we develop an integrated approach to service development, working across Integrated Community Services to ensure services promote independence.
- Occupational Therapy Qualification
- Ability/Willingness to travel from location to location
- Accountability to the professional regulator
- Previous management/supervisory experience within OT setting
