Your new schoolHays Education is working with a friendly school in Walsall in the recruitment of a KS2 supply teacher to start in January. This position is to work for 2 terms. The school has a committed team of staff who create a happy, welcoming and secure environment. Your new roleTo carry out this role successfully, you will need good organisation, good behavioural management, and leadership qualities. You will also be encouraged to facilitate an inclusive learning environment, where the children treat each other with respect, and all children requiring additional needs are supported appropriately. As this is going to be for two terms, you will be required to plan, mark and attend parents' evenings and staff meetings. What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A valid enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning outcomes in Key Stage 2
  • A strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks for Key Stage 2
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to working in different schools and settings
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and improvement
  • Good knowledge of Maths and English
  • Planning and marking experience
