Role Responsibilities- Payroll Processing: Execute end-to-end monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Data Management: Collect, verify, and enter payroll data, including hours worked, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
- Compliance: Stay up-to-date with payroll legislation and ensure all practices align with current regulations.
- Reporting: Prepare payroll summaries, reconciliations, and reports for HR and finance, and assist with audits.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, benefits, and deductions.
- Pensions: Calculate and submit pension contributions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Benefits Coordination: Monitor and help manage employee benefits packages.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement and implement approved changes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR, finance, and management to coordinate payroll changes and support administrative tasks.

Candidate Requirements- Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of two years’ experience in end-to-end payroll processing, ideally using Sage 50 Payroll or similar software.
- Strong understanding of current payroll legislation.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Collaborative: Able to build strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
- Diligent: A meticulous approach to ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Proactive: Self-motivated and capable of taking the lead on assigned responsibilities.
- £30,000 to £35,000 per annum
