A leading company in the UK's food industry is looking for a highly competent and motivated Quality Manager to join their team at their state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Walsall area, This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a company that supplies the country's major supermarkets and well-known restaurants.

This role is working Monday to Friday 4pm till 1am

What You Will Do:

  • Manage the QA team to ensure product quality, legality, and safety while meeting customer specifications.
  • Oversee recruitment, induction, and training of Quality Auditors.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operations and adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct internal audits and lead third-party audits and customer visits.
  • Coordinate investigations into customer complaints and implement action plans.
  • Support the implementation of a robust food safety culture and quality initiatives on site.

What You Will Bring:

  • Relevant scientific or food-related qualifications (Degree desirable).
  • Experience working with major retailers and leading audits.
  • HACCP and Food Safety qualifications.
  • Internal auditing training.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
