- Passion for the mathematics field and a drive to instil this into students.
- A dedication to the education and wellbeing of students aged 11-16.
- Commitment to following safeguarding processes and an understanding of their importance.
- Previous experience of working with students, or in a school setting, is advantageous but not mandatory.
The RoleAs a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work in close collaboration with teaching staff and will assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons. You will monitor student progress and will devise support strategies to address any additional learning needs and raise attainment levels. You will support students on both a 1:1 and small group basis and will offer clear, concise explanations to mathematical concepts.
