A Process Engineer position is available within an award-winning business undergoing significant growth. Process Engineer responsibilities include -
- Review current processes and existing methods of manufacture.
- Work on volume outputs, scrap/rework, quality, safety, and delivery commitments.
- Ensure that existing equipment and machinery are kept in good working order.
- Recommend new equipment when and where necessary.
- Support with the creation of new manuals and staff training where necessary.
- Assist with plant layouts to ensure material flow is maximised.
- Help to drive continuous improvement/kaizen programs on site.
Process Engineer desirable skills and experience -
- Experience working within a similar role (Manufacturing Engineer, etc)
- knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques.
- Knowledge of QMS such as ISO 9001, AS 9100, or IATF 16949.
- Be able to use lean tools such as CPK, VSM, PDCA, and OEE.
- Mechanical engineering education (HNC/HNC) or relevant training.
