The roleAs a Quality Inspector, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll help maintain quality standards throughout the production process and the finished vehicle stage ensuring you record accurate quality results in a fast-moving environment.

Day-to-day, you'll inspect the product at different stages of production and at the end of the cycle, sign off the product against the agreed specifications, complete vehicle despatch packs and complete administration work to ensure records are kept up to date.

Main responsibilities

  • Accurately and methodically recording inspection findings using build pack, relevant check sheets and test reports
  • Independent inspection and despatch to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Timely inspections to adhere to strict customer deadlines in accordance with key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Carry out any other duties or training as and when necessary to meet the varying demands of the business and satisfy customer needs

This role is full time, 40 hours per week and is based on site at Walsall.

Essential experience of the Quality Inspector

  • Good understanding of vehicle specifications
  • Passion and deep understanding of Vehicles
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team to achieve desired results
  • Proven experience in a quality control environment (Desirable)

Qualifications for the Quality Inspector

  • Maths & English GCSE
  • Full UK driving licence
