A Walsall-based fabrication company is seeking a full-time, permanent Production Supervisor.
The role involves managing a team of 10 to 16 personnel, including platers, fitters, welders, and apprentices, while ensuring production targets are met.
Candidates should have experience as a Production Supervisor, preferably with a background in fabrication and welding, and familiarity with nuclear fabrication.
The position requires excellent man management skills and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
The salary for this role is competitive, and candidates are expected to have prior experience in a similar supervisory role.

My Walsall based Fabrication company are looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.

Duties:-

Controlling and allocating resources (responsible for around 10/16 personnel) consisting of platers, fitters, welders, operatives and apprentices.
Assist in control of consumables.
Advice and Control of tooling / jigs & fixtures
Achieving production targets / dates.
Assist in Data / Time recording of hours.
Maintain general cleanliness of areas in clean workshop.
Liaise with QA / Contracts on welding methods.
Planning, assigning, and directing production work.
Maintaining organization and discipline.
Monitoring health & safety in the workplace.
Issuing work / jobs packages.
Promote and monitor quality awareness.
Promote teamwork and communication.
Assist in maintaining security of the building and contents.
Assist in training new starters / apprentices.
