We currently have a brand new opportunity for an experience production supervisor to join a market leading Fabrication company in the greater walsall area.
Working on a static day shift with overtime available some of the keydutiesfor the position are outlined below.
Duties:
- Liaise with management team on production planning and quality control
- Assigning, and directing production work.
- Maintaining organization and discipline.
- Monitoring health & safety in the workplace.
- Issuing work / jobs packages.
- Promote and monitor quality awareness.
- Promote teamwork and communication.
- Assist in maintaining security of the building and contents.
- Assist in training new starters / apprentices.
Essential Skills:-
- Previous experience as a Production Supervisor
- Fabrication & Welding knowledge
- Being able to read & interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent man management
- Working on own initiative
