Opus People Solutions are working with Walsall Council to recruit for an interim Finance Business Partner to build on and improve the finance business partnering approach to ensure good financial management to close down (year end) for children's services and education.

Systems: Oracle (one source), PBCS (used for forecasting), Beyond, Mosaic (children's social care system)

Duties:

Supporting budget holders
Forecasting
Reconciliation
Close down
Accruals / prepayments
SLT meetings (meeting with directors)
Will need to be involve in budget setting
Supporting a junior business partner but they are managed by another member of the team
