Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Monitoring
- Develop and implement quality standards and accreditations, ensuring compliance across all operations.
- Conduct regular quality inspections on manufactured products, ensuring they meet our high standards.
- Maintain and review processes, continuously identifying and implementing improvements.
- Oversee supply chain audits and ensure calibration standards are upheld.
- Investigate and resolve production issues to enhance product quality.
Health, Safety & Environmental Monitoring
- Conduct routine HS&E inspections across departments.
- Lead HSE investigations, determining root causes, and embedding key lessons learned.
- Chair quarterly QHSE committee meetings, ensuring ongoing safety improvements.
- Support in addressing QHSE issues and align with company-wide safety objectives.
Business Improvements
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and support project managers in implementing changes.
- Introduce innovations to boost production and efficiency.
- Collaborate on projects aimed at advancing production quality and streamlining processes.
Complaints & SLAs
- Ensure complaints are addressed and resolved within SLAs, conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective measures.
- Lead investigations of HSEQ incidents, non-conformances, and quality issues.
Fabrication Support
- Assist the Fabrication team in maintaining high-quality standards and necessary accreditations.
- Oversee quality inspections for fabrication products and support the development of contract-specific Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
Management & Team Development
- Manage internal quality resources, conducting regular one-on-ones and performance reviews.
- Support direct reports in achieving departmental goals and personal development targets.
- Lead and successfully complete all audits.
- Regularly review and improve business processes.
- Ensure timely resolution of complaints, typically within five working days.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO accreditations 9001, 45001 & 14001.
- Proven experience in an HSEQ role, with a focus on quality control.
- Exceptional attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in relevant software.
- Familiarity with ISO 50001.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Degree-level education or equivalent.
- Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., Chartered Quality Institute).
- IEMA status and internal auditor qualifications.
