Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum

Location: Walsall Wood, WS8

Hours: Monday - Friday 08.00 - 16.00 - office based

We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our client based within the Construction industry. Competent on SAGE 50, my client is seeking someone with excellent skills and experience within Purchase Ledger.

Working within an open plan office, with a friendly atmosphere, your key duties will be:

  • Maintaining a busy accounts email inbox and ensuring everything is cleared off before the close of play
  • Using SAGE 50 to process purchase invoices, currently at 2,100 per month and growing monthly
  • Requesting PODS from supplier’s portals
  • Updating records
  • General finance and administration duties

Key Skills/Experience Required:

  • Previous experience within paperless billing is desired
  • Competent Purchase ledger skills and experience
  • Experienced in SAGE 50
  • Used to working in a fast-paced role and environment and working to tight deadlines
  • Excellent accuracy skills
  • Driven, able to work independently and within a team.
  • Competent on Excel.
