Career Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Art & Design Teacher (Must hold QTS / QTLS), for a secondary school based in Walsall. This is a full time temporary role to start as soon as possible, for One term in the first instance.

You will be working in a vibrant and inclusive secondary school who are dedicated to fostering academic excellence and personal growth for their students. They offer a nurturing and positive environment where both students and staff and encouraged to reach their full potential.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Art & Design Teacher to join the staff team from September 2024. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Art and Graphics at KS3-4 and a commitment to inspiring and educate students in the field of Art. You will be responsible for delivering high quality Art lessons, preparing students for academic success and instilling a lifelong love of learning.

Qualifications & Requirements of Art & Design Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Art or a related field
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Experience teaching Art and Graphics at key stage 3 and 4.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students in their learning process.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
  • Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
  • Have up-to-date safeguarding training; Career Teachers offer FREE online Safeguarding training
  • Provide a full 10-year career history and references to cover the last 2 years including current and previous employers.
