English Teacher

Flourish Education are currently recruiting an English Teacher for an Ofsted-rated GOOD Secondary School in Walsall. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a passionate Secondary Teacher who thrives on inspiring students and delivering excellent lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

The role is full-time, starting immediately, and will run until the end of the academic year.

Job Role

As an English Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students.
• Planning, marking, and assessing students' work in line with school policies.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a productive learning environment.
• Working collaboratively with the school's dedicated staff to support student progress.
• Inspiring individual and group performance with excellent subject knowledge.
• Ensuring all teaching meets the expectations of the National Curriculum.

Required Skills and Experience

We are looking for a qualified Secondary Teacher with:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status.
• Excellent subject knowledge in English.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 students.
• A passion for education and inspiring young minds.
