Position Overview:As a School Receptionist you will be a key player in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the school. Your responsibilities will include managing administrative tasks, providing support to staff, students, and parents, and contributing to the overall positive atmosphere within the school.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage administrative tasks such as record-keeping, filing, and data entry.
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to students, parents, and staff members.
- Coordinate and organise school events, meetings, and schedules.
- Assist with admissions, enrolment, and student record maintenance.
- Handle phone and email communications, ensuring a prompt and courteous response.
- Collaborate with teaching and support staff to facilitate a cohesive and productive school environment.
- Maintain a welcoming reception area and ensure the smooth flow of visitors.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Successful completion of an enhanced background (DBS) check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant administrative or secretarial qualification.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
