Due to our continued growth we are currently seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as a School Receptionist. This exciting position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of our school while working in a vibrant and supportive environment.

Position Overview:As a School Receptionist you will be a key player in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the school. Your responsibilities will include managing administrative tasks, providing support to staff, students, and parents, and contributing to the overall positive atmosphere within the school.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage administrative tasks such as record-keeping, filing, and data entry.
  • Provide friendly and professional assistance to students, parents, and staff members.
  • Coordinate and organise school events, meetings, and schedules.
  • Assist with admissions, enrolment, and student record maintenance.
  • Handle phone and email communications, ensuring a prompt and courteous response.
  • Collaborate with teaching and support staff to facilitate a cohesive and productive school environment.
  • Maintain a welcoming reception area and ensure the smooth flow of visitors.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Successful completion of an enhanced background (DBS) check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant administrative or secretarial qualification.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
