Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, using strategies that support positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEMH needs.
- Collaborate with the wider teaching team and mental health professionals to provide holistic support.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes both academic and personal growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred.
- Proven experience in SEMH settings.
- Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.
- Expertise in adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
- Commitment to students' mental health and well-being.
