Are you a passionate Maths teacher with a talent for engaging students and a deep understanding of SEMH needs? We're looking for someone with strong teaching skills and experience handling challenging behaviour. Your ability to connect with and inspire students, fostering both their academic and personal growth, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, using strategies that support positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEMH needs.
  • Collaborate with the wider teaching team and mental health professionals to provide holistic support.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes both academic and personal growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in SEMH settings.
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.
  • Expertise in adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Commitment to students' mental health and well-being.
  • Relevant teaching qualifications and a deep passion for Maths education.
