Are you a Supply Teacher seeking flexibility and a better work life balance? Empowering learning are currently recruiting for a Supply Teacher to work in a range of Secondary schools across Walsall/ Sandwell.

The ideal candidate must be able to confidently deliver the pre-planned work left by the class teacher, whilst maintaining strong behaviour and classroom management skills following the school behaviour policy.

This role will be delivering a range of general subjects across key stage 3 and 4.

Duties of a Supply Teacher:

  • Delivering the pre-planned lessons laid out by the class Teacher.
  • Delivering a range of different subjects across key stage 3 and 4.
  • Sole focus on delivering high quality lessons each day.
  • Managing Behaviour - Building Relationships with staff, students & parents
  • A person who is passionate, enthusiastic, and willing to go the extra mile to help and support children reach their maximum potential in every subject.
  • Be able to work well as part of a close-knit team as well as think on your feet.

  • Good behaviour management skills and be confident following school behaviour policies.
  • A substantial school reference.
  • Previous experience working within a Supply Secondary School Department
