This school is a vibrant and inclusive school committed to providing a high-quality education for all its children. They are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join the team and support their Year 4 class.


In this role, you will support and teach the Year 4 class in the afternoons, assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons. You will provide one-on-one and small group support to students, help manage classroom behaviour, and maintain a positive learning environment. Additionally, you will prepare and organise teaching materials and resources, monitor and assess the children's progress, and provide feedback to the class teacher. Your efforts will foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all children.


What you'll need to succeed

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with primary school children, particularly in Year 4.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
  • Passion for education and helping students achieve their potential.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
