A brilliant primary school in Walsall is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to start with them in January to cover sickness. This primary school's motto is 'Learning in Mind, Community at Heart'. They are proud to be a community school and their staff have forged strong links and relationships with parents, families, associated professionals and the local community.Your new roleYou will be working in a classroom setting with small groups of children in Year 2. You will be supporting the children with literacy, numeracy and phonics. This will consist of taking small groups out for interventions. You will also be supporting the teacher in the classroom. What you'll need to succeed
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Supporting children for their development and learning in small groups or 1:1 bases
- Trained in RWI phoincs
- Liaising with teachers on a general basis
- Ideally, we need experience with children with SEN needs.
