- Basic up to £36,000
- Bonus earnings up to £40,000+
- Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:30 with Saturdays 8am - 1pm
- Support the Branch Manager in daily operations and team supervision to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality service.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the workshop team, including mentoring junior technicians and apprentices.
- Assist with stock control, ordering parts, and ensuring appropriate inventory levels are maintained.
- Liaise with customers in a professional and friendly manner, providing accurate estimates and updates on vehicle progress.
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the workshop environment is kept clean, tidy, and in line with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and report on team performance, workshop productivity, and efficiency to support business targets.
- Conduct a range of vehicle maintenance and repairs including servicing, clutches and cambelts.
- Carry out MOT Tests (If MOT Qualified)
- Complete general servicing and repairs of vehicles.
- Maintaining electronic records in a complete and accurate manner.
- Ensuring that all work is completed safely and complies with Company standards.
- Be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
- 5 years of time service as a Vehicle Technician within a professional workshop (Essential)
- Previous managerial experience - beneficial
- MOT license would be beneficial
- Have a UK driving licence with minimal points
- Able to work as an individual or as part of a team.
- A full UK driving license.
