ASC Learning Support Assistant:

Area: Walsall

Salary: 12.19-13.00 per hour (pay depends on experience.)

Start date: September

We at Monarch Education are looking for a Primary or Secondary Teaching Assistant to work in a SEND school, located in the Walsall area. This role is supporting learners with ASC, ADHD and other additional needs. School setting experience is not essential, just need to be passionate about the job and willing to learn and Adapt.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Have experience supporting individuals with additional needs.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Be passionate to inspire and support children.
  • Have experience working with children.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Teacher and other Teaching assistants in the day to day running of the classroom.
  • Ability to manage behaviours.
  • Comfortable with doing 121 or small group sessions.
  • Prioritising their emotional and physical well being.
