About the Role

Randstad are pleased to be working in partnership with Walsall Council to recruit an experienced Senior Qualified Social Worker to join their Children In Care Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your skills and experience in a supportive and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the allocation of children to social workers
  • Chair case meetings and contribute to effective decision-making
  • Conduct statutory visits and assessments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with agency policies and procedures
  • Complete comprehensive life story work for children in care
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Essential Criteria
  • Social Work Degree (or equivalent)
  • Social Work England registration
  • Minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience in a permanent social work position
