Opus people solutions on behalf of Walsall Council have an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join their Mash Team.

Job Title: Social Worker - MashLength of assignment: 3 MonthsHours per week: 37 Hourly rate: £33.30Location: Wallsall Remote/Office based:Hybrid. 1 week in the office, 1 week working from home. As a Social Worker in MASH, you will work with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure appropriate responses to the identified needs of children and their families, at the right time, maintain a high quality of practice and good time management skills to ensure appropriate and timely intervention for children and young people in Walsall by working collaboratively with partner agencies to understand and improve children’s lived experiences and protect them from harm.A successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with our partner agencies to ensure appropriate application of threshold and timely and appropriate outcomes for children, young people and their families in Walsall. Good analytical skills are essential.We are passionate about being open, honest and transparent with families and work in a way that builds on the families’ strengths and seek a candidate who will embrace this way of working.
