On behalf of Walsall Council, Opus People Solutions have an exciting opportunity for a Victim and Restorative Justice Officer to join their team.

Length of assignment: 3 Months
Hours per week: 37 hours
Location: Council House, WalsallHourly rate: 18.72ph PAYE / 25.38ph umbrella
Remote/Office based: Hybrid working, including

  • Office work,
  • Meeting victims face to face in Walsall and surrounding areas
  • Working from home


The officer will contact all victims of crime, assessing their needs and putting supports plans in place. They will also be expected to feed back to case managers within the team and attend relevant panel meetings to provide an overview regarding impact and risk. The role also includes facilitating face to face restorative justice meetings.
Driving licence would be preferred, relevant degree and previous experience.
