Your new schoolThis fantastic Primary School based in Brownhills is looking for a Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join them. This school nurtures, inspires and educates its children in a happy, safe and supportive learning environment where emotional well-being, rounded education and striving for excellence are at the centre of everything that the school does. Your new roleIn this role, you will be supporting a group of SEN children and supporting the teacher in the implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour plans and adjusting learning activities for the children. You will be working with other staff in adjusting learning activities to appropriate and assist the teacher in monitoring pupils' responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement/progress as directed.What you'll need to succeed

  • Knowledge to have good knowledge of literacy and numeracy.
  • You must have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • You must have experience supporting children with SEN.
  • Strong understanding of child development and SEN
