The school are looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 child with Autism. This child does have challenging behaviour. You will be supporting them on a 1:1 basis and following their EHCP plan, creating engaging activities to achieve their targets that have been set for them. You will be logging the activities that you created and how the child responded to them, their behaviour and including their progression in their learning. This will be fed back to the teacher on a daily basis.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You must have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • You must have experience supporting children with Autism and challenging behaviour.
  • Supported children on a 1:1 basis
  • Strong understanding of child development and SEN
