Position: SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary School (Two-Form Entry)
Salary: 85 - 95 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant two-form entry primary school. This is an excellent opportunity to support a pupil with Special Educational Needs, helping them thrive in their learning journey.
You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to create a supportive, nurturing environment that encourages progress and confidence in the pupil.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with specific learning, emotional, or behavioral needs.
- Assist in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to the pupil's needs.
- Support the pupil in engaging with the curriculum, ensuring access to learning and promoting independence.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and other professionals to adapt teaching strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for the pupil.
- Monitor and report the pupil's progress to relevant stakeholders.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with SEN pupils.
- Be empathetic, patient, and able to build a strong rapport with pupils.
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrate an understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Be flexible and adaptable to meet the pupil's changing needs.
- Hold relevant qualifications or training Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification
