- Qualified and unqualified Teaching Assistants with previous experience working with children in child-related settings (such as schools, nurseries, or youth work).
- Individuals who are adaptable, flexible, and passionate about working in a dynamic classroom environment.
- A genuine passion for helping students with special educational needs and a commitment to making a difference in their lives.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing one-on-one and small group support for students with special educational needs, supporting their learning and development.
- Assisting teachers with lesson delivery, classroom management, and ensuring that students are engaged with the curriculum.
- Creating a positive and supportive learning environment, helping students feel confident and motivated.
- Covering staff absences and providing continuity in students' education, ensuring they continue to progress smoothly.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children in a child-related setting (e.g., as a TA, nursery worker, youth worker, or similar).
- A strong commitment to working with students with SEN and supporting their educational journey.
- Adaptability - you'll be working in a variety of classroom settings and need to be flexible to meet the needs of the students.
- Availability for short-term, flexible contracts in a special school in Walsall.
